Zakynthos - Flower of the Levante
Our family have been visiting Zakynthos since 1980, so it’s very much our home from home and we hope that you will come to love it as much as we do.
The third largest of the Ionian islands, and situated off the western coast of Greece, Zakynthos feels different from most of the country as a result of three centuries of occupation by the Venetians. You can still feel their influence in some of the architecture, especially in mountain villages like Louha and Gyri and the fort in Bochali on the hill behind Zakynthos Town.
Long famed for its beauty Zakynthos was christened “Fioro Di Levante” because of its verdant countryside, home to over 7,000 species of flowers and whilst most visit in the summer or autumn months spring is also a wonderful time to stay.
Psarou
Psarou & Meso Gerakari
Psarou is situated in a quiet and undeveloped part of the island, just off the road to the hilltop village of Meso Gerakari. Our neighbours are all Greek and the nearby beach is perfect for families and small children, whilst those in search of bright lights will find plenty to do in the nearby resorts of Alykes/Alykanas or Tsilivi.
The house has three air conditioned bedrooms, a double and two twin rooms, as well as two shower rooms and an outside shower. Our recently renovated kitchen has everything you need should you want to cook and the garden supplies the olive oil that you find in the kitchen as well as more than enough lemons for any number of G&Ts.

Outside spaces
With several balconies and terraces there are plenty of view points for you to soak up the sun and relax with a book and glass of something chilled.
Internet
Our wifi is accessible from all areas of the house and a booster means that you can still surf whilst relaxing by the pool.
Oranges and Lemons
Psarou sits on a plot of approximately 2,700m2 so feel free to explore and when in season help yourself to one of the many oranges and lemons which grow here.
Swimming pool
You have your own 8x4 metre pool where you can relax with friends and family.
